IS A CERTAIN LEVEL OF SURF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?

We cater for all surf abilities given children are self competent surfers or body boarders able to handle themselves independently in the water. For a novice surfer some lessons are necessary before joining a group.  The surf location on the day is always catered to the lowest ability surfers of the group for safety purposes, so ability is considered in order to allocate a child to the most appropriate group.

WHAT ARE THE PICKUP AND DROP OFF ZONES

Pickups and drop offs are dependent on school and living location and can be conducted between the North Shore and lower Northern Beaches, Upper North Shore and Upper Northern Beaches and the Eastern Suburbs and Eastern Beaches. A surf groups driving route is selected based on the the founding members who created the group.

IS SURF EQUIPMENT BYO or PROVIDED?​

BOTH: If a child cannot take their surfboard to school or doesn't have their own equipment there are various other options available.

1) Equipment can be dropped off prior to a session to the TSS storage unit in Manly. 

2) Surfboards can be gathered at a group members place and be collected by the surf facilitator prior to school pickup for a small fee.  

3) TSS can provide a surfboard (fibre glass and soft), bodyboards and/or a wetsuit for a cost of $5 per session
